October Time

Like my parents I love this time of year. It's when you can crawl up on the couch, and cuddle while watching the leaves turn orange, pumpkin spice in the air, and watching scary movies with the lights on. ;) I can't wait to go to different pumpkin patches to pick out the perfect pumpkin. Since it is October 5 I figure it was about time to get the house decorated.

 

 

We got a new lamp finally for in the corner of the living room. With it getting dark early our house has been a little bit gloomy but now its nice and bright and can see.

 

 

Caralynn has been getting so big. I don't understand how she is so tall, she is going to out grow me fast. She loves to dress up and play with her little ponies. She has the best sense of humor and is always cracking everyone up. She is going to preschool and loves going and playing with the kids. They do different little field trips which she loves because she gets to go out and experience different things.

 

 

 

 

Been awhile....

Been a long time since last updated. We are enjoying Caralynn. She is such a carefree, spirited, shy, cheery little girl. I like to think she takes after me as she is always talking and making up stories. She loves disney princesses. We just started gymnastics and swimming classes, thinking about soccer. We ar still loving living in rainy Olympia but I do wish I was closer to my parents and siblings. Mother I will try to keep up on the blog so you see all out activities.

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch we could not have asked for a better day for here in the Northwest. Sun shining and warm on an October Day. Both Chris and I had the day off so that made it even better. Caralynn loved all the pets that she got to pet and the hay ride that we went on. She had a lot of fun picking out her pumpkin and seeing all the kids at the pumpkin patch. We had a great time!!

Denise's Birthday

So now it is time to play some catch up. I have been slacking big time. The big reason is I'm just busy. I started a job which I love. It is called Romy and its a clothing store at the mall. So between working, spending time with the family and having friends visit, it has been hard to get on and blog.

For Denise's Birthday (Chris's mom) they went to the Falls Terrace for lunch. I sadly was not able to make it but I know Caralynn and Chris had a great time!

Caralynn is getting to the "talking" stage. It is so cute when she is cooing and having conversations with us. Today she had on a cute little outfit that her daddy got her. Her smiles keep getting bigger.

GREAT WOLF LODGE!!

We were very fortunate to be able to go to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA thanks to Chris's sister Lyndsey and her husband Travis. It is a huge indoor water park. I thought that since Caralynn loves her baths she might love the pool and she did!! She didnt even cry when getting splashed in the face. She is a little swimmer. We are both looking forward in going back there someday. Caralynn had alot of fun playing with her cousins.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR!

The other day it was so nice out I decided to take Caralynn outside to take some photos in her cute pink dress. She was more interested in her dress then smiling at me taking photos.

HALLWAY FINISHED

My mom just sent us another picture frame for our hallway wall. She also sent the family sign with it. While I was out of the house Chris surprised me and finished the wall for me. All we have to do is put some photos of us in the frames and it will be complete. I absolutely love it!!! Makes the apartment more of a home!! Now I know we are not married yet but my last name will be Garwood someday, hopefully soon so that is what the "G" is for, since I live with two Garwoods!

AFTER BATH

Caralynn loved her little bathrobe. She just sat in her crib and was playing with it. I am so lucky to have such a calm baby. She loves her bath time, she just stares around the room. I love it when i can capture her big smile in photos!!

DAY AT THE PARK

The other day we went on a family walk. It was so nice out. Caralynn slept while we were walking but woke up to play:) she was not to into it though!

We are finally decorating our bedroom. We received this mirror from Chris's mom. I love how it has opened up the bedroom. I am loving it!!

FIRST FEEDING!!

So today we got the go ahead on feeding Caralynn solids. So tonight we tried it and she did so good. Caralynn loved it! The only time she got fussy was when I was not feeding it to her fast enough. She is such a big girl already. At her appointment she weighed 13 pounds 6 ounces, was 24 3/4 long. I cant believe how fast she is growing. She is always on the move, can not sit still only when she is sleeping. When she is awake her legs are always moving.

MY FIRST MOTHERS DAY!!

For Mothers Day Chris started out with making me breakfast in bed. It was delicious, I thought it was so sweet of him to do for me. Chris and his Dad also fixed my car for me. Then we spent the day at his parents house. I am so blessed to have a wonderful daughter like Caralynn. She makes being a mom worth it. I am also thankful for her father Chris, he is AMAZING!

CARALYNN 4 MONTHS

Caralynn is four months today. I cant believe that she is already is four months feels like just yesterday I had her. She is such a joy in my life. I love spending every second with her. She tries to crawl but then gets distracted by sucking on her hand. she rolls from her stomach to her back everyonce in awhile. She loves "row row your boat". I love her huge smile. She is so amazing and beautiful. We have her 4 month appointment on Monday so I will make a post with her weight and how the appointment goes.

SPRING TIME!

Here is some photos from our patio. I recently recieved some pots from Chirs's mom they are all so beautiful and we went and planted some flowers. It really adds to our patio area. We also just bought a little table and some chairs
